Feeling grateful for the visit of our Japanese sensei and the knowledge and wisdom he shared with us.
The visit by Japanese ambassador MR. Yutaka Kikuta to the Nepal kendo practice session on July 27, 2023, was a truly inspiring event for the local kendo community. As a 6th dan Sensei from Japan, his expertise and passion for the martial art were on full display as he shared his knowledge with the enthusiastic Nepali kendo players. It was a rare and valuable opportunity for the Nepali kendo players to learn directly from such a highly skilled and experienced practitioner. Ambassador Kikuta’s willingness to engage with the local kendo group and impart his wisdom was greatly appreciated by all in attendance. This cross-cultural exchange serves to strengthen the bonds between the kendo communities of Nepal and Japan, furthering the global reach and appreciation of this noble martial art.
